Executive Board Meeting. November 30, 2023, 1800, Zoom meeting.
Veteran's Day Observance. The Chapter will convene at the Buckley Monument in Stoneham, Ma. in honor of Chapter namesake Col. William Buckley on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Uniform will be Class A's or the Chapter 54 3-season jacket and beret with flash of your choice. The Chapter President will make a few remarks at 10:30 a.m. at the Stoneham Town Hall as part of the Town's observances. Following the Town Hall event Chapter members will meet at the Buckley Monument. The meeting will conclude with coffee at a nearby location.
Foreign Weapons Shoot
September 23, 2023
The final weapons course and shoot was held in mid-September.
After all expenses were paid the Chapter made $4,921.56 net -
now in the Chapter treasury. There were 48 guest shooters as
well a large support and instructor staff to run the event.
Many thanks to Vin Pestilli and his crew for conducting the
past nine FWFC events!
Fishing With Warriors
September 7-12, 2023
Costa Rica
Chapter 54 has two slots for the
Fishing With Warriors trip to Costa Rica. All expense,
including air fare, hotel, food, boat rental, etc., are paid
for by the Fishing With Warriors organization. If you would
like to be consider for this event send an email to the Chapter
54 president NLT April 7, 2023. Chapter 54 member Hugh Van
Roosen was the
2022 Fishing With Warriors representive for the chapter.

The tour will last two hours. then lunch at a local restaurant
only 5 mins away.
The facility offers one of the largest collections of WW II
memorabilia in the world. The exhibits include many
one-of-a-kind WW II German, Soviet, and allied tanks, APC's,
artillery pieces, uniforms, and other equipment.
Admission for a Chapter member and one guest paid for by the
Chapter. Additional guests are adults $20, seniors (over 62)
$18, and children (under 12) $10. Deadline for museum visit
head count is March 17th.

Executive Board Meeting
February 11, 2023, Saturday, 0930 hours

Topics for the meeting included proposed 2023 budget, update on
chapter finances, review of last year's calendar, and setting
the calendar for 2023. Additionally, a discussion took
place on the future and structure of the Foreign Weapons
Familiarization Course. The meeting was open to the entire
membership. Coffee and doughnuts was served during the
meeting; there was pizza for lunch.
