In Memory of
William R. Mark

William R. Mark, a member of Chapter 54, passed away on December 13, 2019. He served over 26 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, retiring in the rank of Colonel. He served tours in Vietnam and Germany, as well as serving as a Chaplain with the 10th Special Forces Group during Desert Storm.

"Bill" was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts and a graduate of Newton High School, Wake Forest University, and Lancaster Theological Seminary.

He had a diverse occupational history. Bill served as a minister at four Congregational churches in Massachusetts. He worked at the Bedord VA Hospital for close to 30 years, starting in Chaplaincy and finishing as a Therapist in Mental Health. He also served as a Chaplain for the FBI. He developed and taught a course on Hospital Chaplaincy that was offered by multiple local Divinity and Theological schools.
