Hello to all
Bill came home
from Johns Hopkins on the 25th and he's
progressing very well. We had a busy week - he
had a good report from the cardiologist, and the
orthopedic surgeon has determined that further
surgery on the ankle will not be necessary. That
was a big relief ! He will have weekly visits to
Worcester where they will check out his ankle
and replace the cast. It's not easy getting him
out of the house and into the car, but we've
worked out a pretty good system.
He has really
enjoyed all the cards, calls and visits, and we
thank all of you for checking in and lifting his
spirits. He has kind of a long and boring
recuperation not being very mobile, but he's
being a very cooperative patient. We've got a
trip planned in November so he's got no time to
waste!
Thanks again for
your concern and support -
Diane

better place

Co C, 20th SFGA:
Kevin Paicos sends ...Hi Bill;
Please express my
appreciation to the membership for their generosity both in
supporting us with packages while in Afghanistan and for the
homecoming reception as well. The food at the
reception was great and the beer/wine/hard stuff wasn’t too
hard to take either! The check for the company was a real
surprise and much appreciated too. I’m looking
forward to attending my first chapter meeting and
thanking all of you
guys in person. KP
