Visit to USS Constitution
Sunday, May 18, 2025 USS Constitution. Members of Chapter 54 will visit the USS Constitution followed by lunch at the historic Warren Tavern, both located in Charleston, Massachusetts. Members will gather at the entrace to the USS Constitution at 1100 hours. This will be a self-guided 90-minute tour.
Warren Tavern. Follwing the Constitution tour,
there will be a walk (or you can drive) to the historic Warren
Tavern at the base of Breed's Hill at 2 Pleasant Street for
lunch at 1300. The Warrent Tavern was erected in 1780 and was
one of Paul Revere's favorite drinking venues. George
Washington as well as other Revolutionary War Patriots.
Breed's Hill and Bunker Hill Monument. After the lunch members can
elect to walk up Breed's Hill to visit the nearby Bunker Hill
Monument and Museum.
Directions and Parking. There are several parking options
near the Constitution available. The Nautica Garage on
88 Constitution Road, Boston is the closest one to the Boston Navy Yard.
The Chapter will reimburse members who park there. Maps. Below are links to a few maps online that will familiarize you with the area.

location of the Nautica Garage, the USS Constitution, the USS
Constitution Museum, the Bunker Hill Monument, the Warren
Tavern, and other locations.

USS Constitution Museum - Locations Registration and Cost. The deadline for registration is May 5, 2025. To register, send an e-mail to the Chapter President. The first 20 guests to sign up will be seated in the Tavern's private dining room; all others will be seated in the main dining room. The cost for the event will be paid by the Chapter fund.
