				 Gregory Marnon passed away on August 9, 2025 at the age of 81. 
				 He was a long-time member of Chapter 54 (Boston) of the Special 
				 Forces Association. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 until 
				 1970, and then later in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. 
				  
				 Gregory was born in Buffalo, NY, on May 3, 1944. After 
				 graduating from High School he joined the U.S. Army. Over the 
				 years, Gregory worked for Budwieser, Howe's Gas Station, City 
				 of Melrose, and Alpha Sprinkler. He also owned his own gas 
				 station in Melrose. He was a member of LIberty Marina in 
				 Danvers and Marianna's Marina in Haverhill. 
				 Greg was one of five brothers, three who served in Special 
				 Forces and were members of Chapter 54. Greg and his younger 
				 brother served in A/11th Special Forces Group, while his older 
				 brother Don was a career 
				 Special Forces officer. 
 
				 Services: Friends and family are invited to 
				 attend Calling Hours on Thursday, August 21, from 5PM until 
				 5:30PM, followed by a funeral home Chapel Service at 5:30PM, at 
				 the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill, 
				 Massachusetts.
