Malcolm Kalp Award
This award is presented annually by Chapter 54 as a
recognition for service to the chapter. The award is in memory
of Chapter 54 member
Malcolm Kalp.
There were no nominations for 2020,
2021, and 2022 due to
very little chapter activity in a COVID environment.
2019 Recipient
Vincent Pestilli
During the
2019 Christmas Party Vincent Pestilli was presented with
the Chapter 54 Malcolm Kalp Award for his support to the annual
chapter
Foreign Weapons Familiarization Course. This event has
resulted in the raising of thousands of dollars that is
contributed to chapter operating expenses and the chapter's
scholarship fund.
Vinnie Pestilli is presented with the 2019 Malcolm Kalp Award
by Chapter 54 President Ken Gingras
2018 Recipient
Bill Coombs
In March 2018 William "Bill" Coombs was presented with the Chapter 54
Malcolm Kalp Award for his unwavering support and leadership to
the Special Forces Association, Chapter LIV.

2017 Recipient
George Durfee
During the
2017 Chapter 54 Christmas Party George Durfee (on left) was presented
the Chapter 54 Malcolm Kalp Award by President Ken Gingras (on
right) for his many years of service
as a Chapter 54 officer and member.
2016 Recipient
Dick Nazzaro
Dick Nazzaro was presented with the 1st presentation of the
Chapter 54 Malcolm Kalp Award for his leadership of the chapter
and his endeavors to make the chapter a successful
organization.
